- Prepare the Investment: Most of our clients complete the Bootcamp program. This phase is geared toward positioning the company for investment by Venture Capital funds and often involves a review of the company’s business plan and investor pitch; mentoring the venture’s founders to establish reasonable expectations with regard to funding; and challenging the very fundamentals on which the business has been built. - Raise the Round: Once a company has positioned itself for investment, WMC can often help them determine the best source of funds. This might include targeting funds that have the highest interest for your deal; accelerating the process of funding by streamlining, due diligence and cutting “time to close” significantly; and helping to negotiate the best deal for all parties. At the conclusion of this phase, companies often move on to the next phase of our program.
- Grow the Business: Raising sufficient funds is only the beginning to creating a truly great venture. Once your finances are in order, you need to build the best team, rollout products and create market traction with key customers.
